Here it is, my pandemic, boredom-induced, custom shop Maruszczyk bass build. I ordered this custom build with Adrian right in the middle of 2021, and it took a couple months to get it. I ordered what I thought I wanted, in fact EVERYTHING I wanted, but it turns out that 5-strings are just not really my thing. Since I love P basses, I had Adrian build a 5-string, active P, Brandyburst, Aguilar pickups, Aguilar OPB-3 Pre amp, Hipshot USA tuners and bridge, flame Maple neck, abalone block inlays, and neck binding. Wasn't the cheapest build, but hey, I figured there might be only one pandemic in my lifetime to get through, so might as well go for it. The idea was to have it be modern, but without losing a vintage P vibe. Wearing new flats, she's a mighty beast of a P bass.
I 'm slightly on the fence about selling it, but I have come to realize that my passive P and J -4's are going to get the attention.
I prefer a sale, but open to 4-string P or J trade ideas of equal value, ot some something really special, I can add cash. Prefer a P to a J...particularly interested in Fender CS, Moollon, AC, Maghini, maybe Shabat, LSL, Bluesman Vintage.....you get the idea.
This build was $2,500. plus some related shipping expenses and U.S. duty. Save some money here.... Condition is near mint. It's just not brand new out of the box, but looks like it.
