This is a mid-90s MIA 5-string Jazz with active electronics (9v). Very cool gray-frost finish. Unfortunately, the truss-rod is not working. It plays fine thanks to the micro-tilt, but I can't ask full-price for it. This is a very versatile bass, with the stacked pan/vol pot, stacked bass/treble tone pots, and a selector with passive, active, active-boost, and off settings. I bought its twin because I have gigs coming. It's the only bass I need. I paid $1200 for the twin, so I'm selling this one for 50% of that. Fender brand hardcase included. Shipping extra.

No trades please.

These N series Fender basses IMO were some of the best Fender instruments ever made. I have two. My current PB and a MIA Strat.

Too bad about the truss rod. If it were mine, I’d buy a replacement neck then sell it for $1,200, if you don’t need it.

I tried a Warmoth neck and the heel didn't fit. Fender doesn't seem to offer it.

May be an obvious question, but I'll ask anyway - how's the action with the current setup (and what strings are on it)? Here in So Cal, there's not much of a need generally to adjust the truss rod, given the moderate climate thru the year.

My tech has it set up pretty nicely. Maybe not the lowest, but no buzzing. I don't have a string gauge. I use Elixirs. It could give someone a lot of enjoyment.

Would it possible to get pics of the string height from playing position?
Thanks
