Details

1981 Aria Pro ii SB-900, Matsumoku made in Japan, neck thru ash with ebony board (I believe but could be wrong).

The good: Plays beautifully and sounds really good, both pickups are working, as single coil and humbucker. Nice low action. Back of the neck is nice and smooth.

The bad: Original electronics have been gutted and it’s now passive, with volume, tone and a three way pickup selector. The two smaller switches are single-coil / humbucker. There is currently no way to blend the pickups with this control setup. Frets show medium/heavy wear. Weighs 12lbs. Yes, 12lbs.

The ugly: Lots of cosmetic issues. Both strap buttons have been relocated, the fretboard has numerous little chips and scratches, the clear coat on both sides of the brass nut is cracked (not through the wood) clear coat missing in spot on the bottom. None of these things affect playability.

900$ obo with 50$ UPS shipping to the lower 48 states only. Bass will ship in a nice hardshell case with keys. Thanks for looking!

Curious... what's the nut width, and more importantly, what's the string-spacing at the bridge: 19mm (like Fenders) or narrower (17.5 like Ricks and Gibsons)?

Let’s see, nut width is approximately 44mm and string spacing is 17mm. Similar to a badass bridge there is some adjustability to the string spacing. To me, the neck contour feels more like a wider Ibanez SR than a Fender. Hope that info helps.
