I am putting up for sale a PRO-4 Industrial Radio Midi Bass in excellent condition for 2’600 EUR + shipping (split 50-50 between the buyer and me).
Thanks to its fret sensors and Piezo Bridge pickup, this bass is capable of producing velocity sensitive MIDI notes (with legato and glide information!) in monophonic or polyphonic mode. In addition to be a MIDI controller, this instrument is also a good quality Wartmoth Jazz bass. The controls on this bass are (from the neck) Midi Volume, VVT.
These are quite rare but people who want this type of bass know that the build time for a new one used to be quite long. I am letting it go since over the past two years, I started using more and more Ableton Push as a controller and this bass is not getting the playing time it deserves.
I am the second owner, I acquired this bass from a fellow TBer in 2016. Everything works and beyond normal wear I could not spot any dents or marks. To be honest, the quality if the SKB hard case was not amazing and you can see in the pictures that there is a crack in the case where it use to be screw.
Included with the sale:
· Industrial radio pick system with spare picks;
· Fretsense interface (with a mounted temple audio plate);
· Fretboard cleaning mask and fret polishing material by Industrial Radio;
· Two replacement Piezo Bridge pickups.
The bass is located in Bern, Switzerland. I could meet almost everywhere in Switzerland or close to the German/French border.
