Looking to move my 78 Presicion. Bought here of of talkbass about a year ago as all original including body, neck, electronics and pickguard. I’ve since had a Lindy Fralin standard wind pickup with new pots and output jack professionally installed. Not because there was anything wrong with the original, but just because I thought it would be cool. Anyway the original pickup and pots will be included. I also installed some dunlop duel use strap locks but the originals will be included as well. The bass is in fabulous condition. A few nicks and dings here and there but nothing crazy or out of the ordinary for a bass of this age. The neck is pretty fat but feels so good, nice and super smooth. It’s not light, 10.6 lbs according to my bathroom scale (which is really the only reason I’m letting it go). Having said that it is the most resonant sounding bass I’ve ever had. When played a acoustically the notes just ring out. Currently it’s wearing a set of nicely broke in medium fender flats. Sounds just right for that Duck Dunn soul thing. It’s as if it was born to play Soul Man, pipe and smoking jacket not included. The original case is. Shipping will be on the buyer on this one.
