This started as a Sterling by Music Man StingRay Ray24. Bass is in great condition and has been fully Plek’d. There are extra holes on the back of the headstock from the old tuners and some extra holes under the control plate as it was not a direct replacement. The new bridge required a bit of modification as well. The posts that are used on the Ray24 are glued in and if I tried to remove them, the wood would have cracked. So, I filled the holes with a wooden dowel, and glued the dowel in with wood glue. Sanded it down and attached the regular screws that came with the new bridge. It would be very easy to swap back to the original bridge if so desired. Plays and sounds absolutely amazing with low action and fantastic sustain. I have completed the following modifications:
- Nordstrand MM Pickup - $125
- Plek’d - $239
- Black GraphTech Tusq Nut - $25
- Albridge MM Bridge $109
- ZeroMod Thumb Rest $35
- Black Control Plate
- Black Pickguard
- Strap Locks - $20
- Hipshot Licensed Ultralight Tuners $130
- Black String Retainer
- Gator Gig Bag $150
