Fender Aerodyne Bass upgraded with Geezer Butler EMG pickups and pots. Sounds incredible. Pro set up, great action, plays like butter. Currently strung with Rotosound Swing 66 roundwounds. Original pickups and pots included in the sale. SKB hard shell flight case with TSA latches also included. This is a very clean well playing instrument with very little signs of wear. 1 very small chip on back. Prefer local pick up in central NJ. But may ship at buyers expense. Please request additional pics or questions. This is a killer deal. I have about $1,400.00 dollars tied up in this set up and the bass is in very nice condition. Additional pics can be sent upon request. $725.00 is the final price. Thanks for your interest.

Sorry, I don’t have any means to weigh it but it is very light compared to other Fenders I have played. I looked at another TB members ad for the same vintage Aerodyne and he said his weighed 7lbs, 15oz. I would assume they are all very similar.

I had one with ‘regular’ EMGs, sorta begrudgingly sold to a young man with a lot of promise so I don’t feel too bad, but I super miss the pj tone (I haven’t any pj basses now) and playability. These basses with pup upgrades are just wonderful. GLWTS
ps; i’m pretty sure the body wood is popular so they’re nice and lightweight too!

Quick question - I also have one of these with Geezers. If those are the original knobs, how did you fit them on the EMG pot shafts? My og knobs have too small a diameter to fit. GLWTS!

Correct, my luthier used a hand reamer to clearance the knobs just a little bit and pressure fit them to the new pots. Thanks

If I wasn't bass heavy I would probable pick it up. It is a great deal IMO.
Things are selling slow right now.
