Regretfully selling my Fodera, (due to divorce)
A rare bass. This was built by Vinnie and Joey, a real Fodera. Was built and played by Tamas Barabas in europe. Lots of videos on youtube.
Below is from the original Fodera site:
Chestnut Imperial 5 (MG Shape)
Unique Features
Built for a long time friend and outstanding professional player, this Imperial Elite 5 (with Matt Garrison body shape) looks every bit Fodera but its tone is right out of the 1960′s! We are coming down to our very last Chestnut tops here at Fodera…sadly when they are all used they will be gone forever as every single Chestnut topped Fodera came from just one tree (yes, we bought the entire tree).
An all Alder body (including the Tone Block), Indian Rosewood fingerboard and 60′s pickup spacing make this the ultimate updated vintage tone machine. The woods sound vintage, but the ergonomics and tonal flexibility imparted by the Fodera / Pope preamp (with Mid switch) ensure that this instrument can handle any gig thrown its way — as can its player!

Body near perfect. there is player wear on bridge,(feels great to me) and edges of tuners. Indian Rosewood ramp is easy to remove. (attached by 3M two sided tape)
Action is low and of course it plays like butta. Strung w/ Fodera Nickels 40-120. Bass is really comfy and feels great next to body.
Price is firm and i think very fair considering this is one if not the last Chestnut tops Fodera built. Will Ship in original Fodera teardrop case and Fodera Box
