This is a rare and hard to find body in transparent black with stock black pickguard, high mass bridge and stock electronics with fat sounding double jazz humbucker noiseless pickups. Fender made these for only a couple of years, which is a shame because of the awesome sounding pickups. Everything works 100%. Neck plate and screws included. Did I mention the great sounding pickups? The body has a variety of dings, dents and scratches, with the most significant on the lower edge as pictured (not visible from the front). The trans black/brown finish does a good job hiding the blemishes, however, and the bass will look great to the audience at your next gig. The pickguard shows only typical wear (WD Music sells replacement pickguards for this bass if you want something other than black)

If memory serves correct, these were made in the same factory that produced those fantastic, first-generation Squier Classic Vibe basses. $250 is a damn good price for one of these. :thumbsup:

That is correct--Modern Player and first generation 2010 era Squier Classic Vibe instruments were made in the Grand Reward factory in China, which to my knowledge is out of business. These imports are superior to the MIM products, in my opinion.

Do you know what the routing was like under the PG? I have an opportunity to buy a sunburst one, but lke to run my Jazzes sans pickguard....thanks in advance!
