Here's a very cool mix of quality components -- a 2019 Fender Road Worn Precision neck, MJT reliced Olympic White body, Aguliar 4P-60 pickup. Weighs in at 8 lbs 11 oz
Got this one a few years ago and got as far as fully shielding the cavities with copper tape and installing the Aguilar pickup. Lost steam and it's been sitting unplayed for awhile -- now it can by yours! Fairly well set up now; I'll offer that if I were keeping it I'd give some attention to getting the frets edges evened out.
The MJT body on this is great -- well-placed and executed chipping and wear, but best for me is the aging process they did on the finish -- zoom in on the body to see artful yellowing and checking! Sweet. Body is perfectly set off by a skillfully aged black pickguard. The overall effect as currently configured is reminiscent of a '70s body with a '50s neck.
Another amusing note -- a previous owner did some gouging on the headstock serial number as you'll see in the pic of the back. Got as far as defacing 'Made in Mexico' and the 'MX' serial number prefix ... can't speak to their motivation except maybe they didn't want to admit they played a Mexico-made bass? Anyway, still totally legible.
