For sale is my Fender 62 reissue jazz bass that was built in the Fullerton factory in 1985.
I have owned it for 35 years and was my main player for 20 years. It’s a fantastic bass in very good condition considering it’s age. The neck is slim front to back with low action. Their is checking on the finish due to aging which I tried to capture in the pictures. It has a small dent on the lower part of the body. It is strung with Sadowsky flatwound strings that have been on it for several years. I changed the pickups to Lindy Fralin in the early 90’s which was a big improvement over the originals. I also changed the pots about 15 years ago. The bass comes with a Fender molded hardshell case which came with the bass when I bought it. It weighs 9lbs 4oz which is typical of that era. It’s a great player and you will not be disappointed. Buyer pays for shipping.
