Pat Wilkins was one of the original Schecter employees when it was still starting out in SoCal. After the company was sold and moved out of state, Wilkins stayed in California and eventually went into business for himself, mostly doing finish work for other major companies, but also building guitars under his own name on the side.

I have one of his guitars (a strat copy) and it's phenomenal. I'm sure the basses are as well. GLWTS.
