ACG/John East EQ-01 Filter Preamp
Recently pulled this out of my custom 4 string where it was paired with 2 Rautia multi-coils with much success. I am the original owner and this was installed in my bass for the better part of nearly 7 years. I decided to make the switch to another filter preamp and after having A/B'd both, I would say that the ACG is by far the most versatile filter preamp on the market but also the least Wal-like (which was never Alan's design with the preamp). These seem hard to come by these days, John East just made a few of these available again on his site but in very limited quantities.
Pictured is everything that will come with the preamp: Vol/Blend stack, 2 low filter stacks, the high pass stack, AND the rare passive tone control! You'll also be getting the very, VERY nice John East black knobs that match the preamp perfectly and look very elegant.

The EQ-01 filter preamp features two variable frequency Low-Pass Filters, allowing separate EQ settings for a 2 pickup instrument. A global variable frequency High-Pass Filter is included to contour the higher frequencies.

- A High-Pass Filter Stack, whose lower knob sets the frequency, and upper knob setting the Level for the higher frequencies.
- A stacked Master Volume/Blend sets the output level and pickups mix.
