I am moving at the end of the month and won't have much time to pack and ship, so lowered the price to essentially 1500+ shipping. That's the bottom. If someone wants it at this price, grab it. I'll take it down at the end of the week for the move.
Back to your usual listing:
Hello! I am selling the Roscoe Classic I ordered back in 2018. This bass has been a constant go-to over the past 4.5 years. Selling it to help pay myself back for a recent purchase and to trim the collection down a bit. It was factory relic'd but has some natural stuff on the body as well. The neck is clean and fully functional, frets good. Tone is classic jazz bass. Alder body, non-flashy birdseye maple fingerboard, maple neck.
The bass currently has Lollar passive jazz pickups and an Emerson wiring kit. It is set up Vol Vol Tone and has the front load jack. The bass is drilled for jack on the side. It'll come with the goodies pictured, so if you wanted to re-wire the jack on the current set up, you could use the 3 hole plate and run the jack out to side.
It'll also come with the Aguilar P/J set up, OBP1 pre-amp and additional pick guard. However, it appears that when the Lollars were installed, one of the wires to the Aguilar J pickup was trimmed short. If you switch back, you'd need to solder some additional length there.
To pre-answer some questions: 19mm at bridge. No trades for now. On my bathroom scale, it's approx 10lbs. I am in Austin. Yes, I built that treehouse. The bass will be shipped in the (pictured) Reunion Blues gigbag I recently received another bass in, so I know it'll arrive safe and sound. 35”. The bass did come with that bridge (hipshot kickass). Keith was having trouble getting the ‘standard’ bridge at the time he built this bass. You can see it in the plek shot. Venmo or PP FF please.
Price includes shipping in Continental US - Offers will be considered.
