Up for sale is a 1993 Fender MIJ PB-62 Precision Bass serial number N0XXXXX. These basses were Fender Japan’s attempt at recreating vintage spec instruments at standard consumer prices. Highlights include vintage sized fret wire, 7.25” radius neck and correct strap buttons including hootenanny button on headstock. The high quality craftsmanship of late 80s - early 90s Fujigen/Fender Japan is on display here. The rosewood fretboard is particularly dark.
Since owning this bass, I have shielded the cavity. I like a high action on my basses, but can confirm that the truss rod is fully operable. Weight on my bathroom scale is a svelte 8.4 lbs. It is currently strung with D’Addario Chromes 45-105. Bass will ship in an unbranded leather gig bag (unsure if original, I suspect not).
Almost certainly looking to sell at this point as I would like to fund a purchase however if you'd like to run a trade by me the worst you'll get is a compliment on the instrument and a polite "no, thank you."
Discount for cash/local pickup otherwise Paypal F&F only. Buyer pays actual shipping for the carrier of their choice. You are welcome to visit my Reverb shop page for additional feedback: Matt's Gear Depot | Reverb
