I've had a few questions about the neck. I'll add that it was professionally worked on by Joe at MBJ Guitars in New York who builds his own basses and works for Carl Thompson and formally Sadowsky. He sanded it smooth and put a few light coats of danish oil on for protection. I just picked it up earlier today and it plays excellently up and down the board.
