Up for sale is a super cool, super rare first year Hagstrom Coronado IV. One of ~1100 made. And one of maybe half that to have the legendary bisonic pickups. Has the bisonics, accordion buttons, rotary volume lever, towel rack finger rest.
Has TONS of vibe to it. Well worn, lots of dings, scratches, etc, but everything works well. When I rescued it, the back of the neck had a slight crack that was professionally filled with epoxy and sanded smooth. You’d never know it was there. There was also a crack on the sides of the neck pocket. This has been epoxied and ebony stringers have been added to the pocket to add structural integrity and increase the contact between the neck and neck pocket.
This bass absolutely RIPS. I’ve never heard a bass sit in the mix quite like this one does. It’s lived a lot of life, but it is ready to live a lot more.
These are very rare. I looked for about 8 years before finally finding this one. Asking$2500 $1800 shipped CONUS. PayPal.
Not really interested in trades. Only selling to fund a potential bass purchase. I very well might pull this listing if the other bass sells first.
