This is the best built and one of the best sounding basses I've owned. Unfortunately the nut width is too wide for me (47.5mm) and it irritates some nerve damage I have in my left hand.
Atelier Z is a boutique Japanese bass brand. Their craftmanship is off the charts. This bass has the best fretwork I've ever seen, action can go so low. This bass was shipped thousands of miles to me and showed up in tune! The neck is that stable. It really does sound like an MTD too. Here are the specs
