I love love LOVE this bass! Amazing tones, upscale pickups and pre, absolutely top-notch craftsmanship, and it’s beautiful!

So why in the world do I have it listed here in the Classifieds? It’s just too heavy for my 61-year-old frame. It’s a little over 10 lbs

This really is not just a workhorse-type bass; it really is a professional model! LTD Elite is made in the same factory in Japan as ESP Custom. It is the highest level of instrument you could order before getting a custom. These are discontinued but sold for $1800 new. It feels like a high quality custom instrument - everything is top notch. The fret work is perfection. Folks, if I could manage the weight, I would NEVER sell this bass!

Very good++ condition, with scuffs from slapping. I had Nordstrand NS-5 singles and Aguilar OBP3 installed – UN-BE-LIEVABLE!

-Chambered Ash body with Quilt Maple top & matching headstock
-Maple neck with Rosewood fingerboard
-Trans black finish
-Nordstrand NS-5 pickups installed (stock Seymour Duncan J single coils included)
-Aguilar OBP3. Volume (push/pull active/passive), Blend, P/P Mid & stacked Bass/Treble.
-Chrome hardware
-Flip-top batter box

-35" scale
10+ lbs
18mm string spacing
1.75” at the nut
Case not included (but will be shipped very securely)
2nd PRICE DROP - Now Asking $675 + $100 for shipping because I installed the Nordstrands & Aguilar pre, the push/pull pot, and some metal knobs. If shipping is over $100, I'll eat that cost.

I've owned one of these for about 5 years. Mine is the E-II model rather than the LTD Elite, but exact same bass. These really are incredible basses. Made in Japan quality is no joke. I play this along side my Fender MIA Jazz V and it arguably a better built bass. Mine's a little heavy as well, but absolutely amazing bass. I doubt anybody can find a better quality bass for the money. GLWTS.

Thanks for the input Felix. These basses are a best-kept secret. You could conceivably have a bass with the electronics and build of a high-end bass, without the high-end cost.

I too played one for 2 years in a working band. Totally solid bass, every bit as good as a USA Fender, but a better B string! Great deal!

Man, what an amazing instrument. Too bad I have a bad back and getting older. I a wus I know, but no way I could carry that on my shoulder for a 4 hour gig. Why do they make them so heavy? Is it made out of petrified wood? Gorgios bass. GLWTS.
