I am selling a recently required 1995 US Fender fretless Precision with the original hardshell case. I believe this lined fretless run only lasted for a few years. At any rate, I love the fret lines, but the neck is a tad bit too wide for me. I believe it is 1.7" as opposed to the 1.625" on my Pro II Precision.

The bass weighs 9.2 lbs on my bathroom scale and appears to be stock except for the pickup, which is a Dimarzio of some sort. The fact that it has hex polepieces, measures 11.07 K, and is higher output lead me to believe it is a Model P, but I haven't pulled it to verify that.

I took a fair amount of pictures to show the condition, which is good overall. If dings on the back of the neck bother you though, you'll want to pass on this one.

Looking to sell outright for $1100 PayPal'd and shipped to the contiguous 48 states. Would also be interested in trading for an American Performer Mustang with a rosewood fretboard.

This is a series of pictures going from the headstock to the body, first on the treble side, then on the bass side.

For me, the most important thing about a fretless is whether or not the dots line up with the lines (smart), or are between the lines (baffling). Most lined fretless basses have the dots in the middle between the lines, which is why I tend to prefer unlined. Please show a shot of the edge of the fretboard so I can see which it is for myself. Thank you.

Every lined fretless I've ever seen has dots between the lines and this fretless Precision is no different. The idea being that filthy casuals like Gary Willis who play a lined fretless will want it to look the same visually as a fretted bass if they look at the neck. I'm not going to take a new picture, but if you look at the last picture in the my series of neck pictures, you will see a glimpse of this.

It is interesting to me how people's tastes can be so different. Personally, I cannot understand how anybody likes either seafoam green or a tort guard, and seeing them in combination together makes me want to throw up a little in my throat, but somebody's buying them, obviously! To me, the tort looks like dried vomit, but some customer will eventually pay $3349 USD for this Suhr:

That one guitar is worth more than the collection of many players!
