Introducing my 2015 Wal MK2:
I’m the second owner since January 2019.
This bass holds sentimental value to me as its longest standing instrument I’ve owned since 2019. And it’s my favourite Wal I’ve owned to date. Second place goes to a 1988 MK2 5 I sold in 2020 that I also owned for 5 years.
Key specs:
-Indian Ebony fretboard with MOP blocks
-Mahogany Core
-Zebranowood Facings
-Pat Wilkins completed the latest finish in Poly on October 18th, 2017 (This is the only Wal with this finish in existence)
-Weight 11.3 lbs on my Rapala Fish Scale
-Currently strung with my favourite strings: Fodera Nickel Light 40 to 120
-String spacing is 18mm at bridge (non adjustable)
-Nut Width is 47mm

As for trades, fretted or fretless 4 or 5 strings. Preference for handmade basses built in the U.S.A., Canada (F-bass, Dingwall) and the UK. (Wal, if you’ve got fretless or 4 string) Adding in Stenback from Finland.
Not interested in Elrick, Warwicks, or Warrior. Just not my type of basses.
I generally prefer many builders from New York and California.
Asking price is $15,000USD with shipping included to the Lower 48 United States and within Canada. Preferences is for a trade or trade plus cash.
Condition of my Wal isn’t mint, it has some very minor nicks as pictured from being played. Overall very clean condition.
