This bass was commissioned by Corner Music in Nashville back in 2013. The were a premier Fender dealer and asked for something unique and the result is what you see here. The “finish”, or lack thereof would be considered like a stripped refin that was common amongst bass players back in the day. It’s all original and I am the original owner. This very light bass is 8 lbs 2ounces with an ash body and rosewood fingerboard. It’s strung with light gauge Labella flatwound strings and plays like a dream. The neck is straight as and arrow with no buzzing whatsoever. It has one small finish mark at the neck pocket that is barely noticeable which was done by me when I adjusted the truss rod several years ago. The COA lists it as Relic, but it’s very subtle as you can see from the pictures. I’m selling it for what I paid for it in 2013.
