These are quite rare and this one is a fantastic example. Fender Fidelitron pickup (similar to a Gretsch Thundertron), alder body, maple neck and fretboard. 1954 Precision-style body contouring with 50s neck shape and headstock. The tone is more in-your-face than a normal split coil Precision bass -- I'd compare it favorably to a Rickenbacker 4003 but with a bit more focus. 1.625" nut width. Weight is just under nine pounds. Some finish wear from clothing, etc. All stock and strung with a set of Fender roundwounds. Includes original Fender gig bag.
