For sale Bartolini NTMB+F -6 hole preamp

I’m not familiar with these, or have ever had an active rig. This one though seems to have “”the right stuff.” That, as I was recently looking seriously into a Cort Elrick NJS4 which looks to have the same components. I’m doing a jazz frankencaster build right now, probably with passive Fralin pups and controls. Can you offer any insight into this Bartolini system, how it sounds / what it needs for use.

Thanks for the question Rob, one of the characteristics of the Bart system that I love is the fact that it is a very quiet, noise free preamp; at least in my experience. I also really like all the configurations that Bartolini has available, in that, I can find a configuration that works for a particular setup when I am modifying a bass.
Tone wise, it has little to no tone coloring, however, some users I understand- find that it exudes a bit of darkness to the tone, but I think that has more to do with the pickup selection rather than the pre itself.
