It live I need a HPF an eq to help cut some bass from my 2 15” cabs arrays. I think this could be a solid option maybe better than req. cause the eq on the mahellan head is solid if the HPF is good on there. Hhmm an I like the extended contour….

It’s a very nice preamp! I bought it to use on my recording board, but I’m going a slightly different route now. Still using Magellan or streamliner heads though. I could see myself getting another one down the road. The hpf should def help remove the boom and it’s very nice having 2 contours at a foot switch. So convenient to go from modern to vintage tones!

Well im only issue is im wondering if it’s not redundant buying thr DI a when I have the Magellan amp. I wish I could try this out to see if it works lke the EQ I need does I have a 10 band mxr graphic eq I want to trade for one with a HPF

I never got the PM. Did you have the Magellan head mt only worry is that it’s the same as the head an doesn’t extend much more in EQ if makes sense.
