This is a bass for those who don’t want to fiddle with a bunch of knobs and switches to get their tone: just sit down, plug in, and play. The tone is already there.
It’s also very light. I’d say in the 8 - 9 pound range.
Cliff Bordwell Single Cut
6 string
34” scale
24 frets
19mm spacing
Ash body
Macassar Ebony top
Maple/Wenge neck
Pau Ferro fingerboard
B headstock shape
Matching headstock
Single Aero Dual Coil pickup
Passive - volume only
Gotoh Resolite tuners
Hipshot Type A Brass bridge
Bass is in overall great shape save for a few small bumps that are in no way big or noticeable really. It’s been played but taken great care of. In full disclosure, the tuner on the B string won’t tune any higher than B. Which I’d imagine won’t be a matter for most but I want to say that out front so everyone is aware. It’s fine operationally if you tune to standard B - C tuning.
This is a great bass and it kinda pains me to move it but I’ve never been one to have a bass collection; I just keep what I use.
