2012 Epiphone Thunderbird bass in Alpine White.
This is the Classic Pro IV model which have become rare as you may know. It's in Excellent condition. There have been cosmetic upgrades* to this bass that make it unique. It has the pickup spacing that is desirable by those in know, very close to the original 60s Thunderbirds.
- Factory Gibson U.S.A pickups
-Nice Rosewood fretboard
- Upgraded Black Thunderbird pickguard and T-Bird Pro truss rod cover*
- comes with a factory Thunderbird case
It's stamped as a factory 2nd. I believe this is because there is a raised portion on the back of the neck near the nut. My luthier and good friend of 30 yrs who built for Taylor and participated in R & D there as well said this occured during the drying process when built. He described this as a cosmetic flaw at this point as it's been entirely stable since the adhesion process cured when it was built 12 years ago. I just thought I'd mention it for the sake of full disclosure.
Now that that's out of the way. It has great low action, truss rod functions as it should with lots of adjustment and I can't find a scratch on it. Its also worth noting that this has a nice Rosewood fretboard, as with all the imports 2017 forward due to environmental laws they switched to Pau Ferro. I've gigged it some and have cared for it, it has never been abused. It's a beauty!
Will be packed professionally and shipped via UPS. $700 CONUS
