I tried these strings out because they were highly recommended to me by a friend, but they’re just not for me. I’m still a steel string guy (I’m just too used to the smaller gauges), but I know a lot of people love these Silver Slaps. They were on my bass for less than an hour so they’re still basically like new as far as life left. I paid $200, so my loss is your gain.
