Labor Day Price Cut!
This one is hard for me. I bought this bass some 25 years ago and have loved it every moment. Sadly, I haven't been able to play long scale for about 4 years now and I've been holding on to it for too long. Sad for me, good for you!
Early in its time with me I made the following upgrades (professionally done by a respected local Luthier):
Installed a set of DiMarzio Ultra Jazz Pickups
Installed a Badass II Bridge
Installed a Shaller Extended Tuning Machine
This bass was regularly maintained and setup by the same Luthier who installed the upgrades. I recently had it PLEK'd because I just felt I needed to send her on her way in the best condition I could. It's a beautiful bass to play.
I will include the original pickups, bridge, thumb rest, original Fender tuning machine and, 3 additional Shaller Tuning Machines. The pickguard is new. The one that was on it - not original - had a small crack that became a big crack when it was removed in the last maintenance/PLEK job. It doesn't fit perfectly but, looks great.
I can also include a not so great gig bag or a not original hardshell case. Your choice. Either way, it will be very well packed.
