Not sure what a 55-02 is. I need one to replace the stock pickup in a Sterling by MM Ray5. Will yours fit?

Lakland Skyline 55-02.

I don't have a Ray5 at the moment to compare, so I wrote to Aguilar to see if they could tell me if the 5M will fit without mods. If I don't have any luck there, I will write to Sterling. Thanks for getting back to me.

55-02 is 19mm spacing, Sterling MM Ray5 is 17mm spacing. Route would probably fit but poles would be a bit wide on the ends.

Thanks. The bass is long gone but I recall using a Nord MM5.2 which worked great other than having to mod the pickguard a bit. I used to average one or two defrets/upgrades a month, but the preamp business keeps me too busy, and it stopped being fun when demand slowed down and it became more difficult to find good deals on Ray4s and 5s. Oh well.
