Beautiful German-built 500/1 replica of Sir Paul's 1963 Hofner violin bass. Includes all paper work, OHSC, pickguard, strap, and case candy. Also includes a brand new, unopened set of Pyramid short scale flatwounds.
The bass is in excellent condition and plays/functions flawlessly. Two minor items of note: 1) The previous owner broke the strap button screw that was in the neck heel when trying to remove it. Part of the old screw is still in the heel. I had a very trusted luthier inspect the bass and he said it posed no issues, structural or otherwise. I added Dunlop strap lock buttons, so very carefully drilled a new hole just off center on the heel to avoid the old screw. I will include the original buttons. 2) The previous owner put fret marker dots (little white stickers) on the top side of the neck; they can be easily removed if desired. $2,200 shipped CONUS. PayPal F&F.
