Punchy 3/4 Kolstein bass for sale. This is bass was made in collaboration with Jiri Polovny, and finished by the Kolstein shop in 2019. This is a D neck bass with a 40.5” string length. The bass is currently set up with Evah Pirazzi (weich) strings. The deep punchy sound would be great in the hands of anyone looking for a Jazz bass or for a classical player looking to step up from a ply/hybrid without braking the bank; it easily outplays basses priced thousands of dollars above it.
The bass just received a tune up - new soundpost and tail piece from Finlay + Gage.
I am located in northern NJ, and willing to drop off within a reasonable distance.
This bass is easy to navigate and has a deep rich bottom end. Would be a great bass for a player of any size - I’m 6’ and love that this bass is portable but packs a punch, and smaller players enjoy how comfortable the bass is to get around.
