1996 Modulus Graphite Quantum-6 TBX
Six-string (BEADGC) bass with neck-thru carbon fiber center beam, ash side wings, 35" scale length, 24 frets, phenolic fingerboard. Black gloss finish. Rear cover for control compartment matches KLD pattern of neck.
Two EMG soapbar pickups, EMG BQC preamp with active Stacked Bass & Treble controls and Sweepable Midrange (stacked center frequency and boost/cut) control, 18 volt power. ABM bridge, Modulus tuning machines. Dunlop Straplocks. Includes original hardshell case* with key (!) and a generic strap with the StrapLocks installed.

Recently had the neck serviced and re-fretted by Joe Perman of Modulus, so action/relief is now perfect and there's no danger of any of those "Modulus pre-trussrod horror stories" for at least several decades!
Sounds amazing. Huge, fat, clear, uniform response all over the entire neck. It pains me to have to let this wonderful instrument go, but some life-changing circumstances have necessitated a need to downsize.
