Got a real nice 75 Precision. Classic black and white Tuxedo! The covers are not original. All else is. The bass does have an extra rout where the previous owner installed a 4th pot. It's under the pickguard and is invisible. There is a small hole for the fourth knob in the original guard that i've covered with a white stick on dot.
The bass has a striking birdseye maple neck that is hard to capture in a photo. I'm including a couple pics that show part of it as well as I can to give you an idea. This is one of the best birdseye patterns I've seen on a Fender bass, and they are a bit rare.
At the moment, she's wearing SD Antiquity II p'ups but I have the original p'ups safe and sound and will put them back in before selling it if desired - they work nicely (one side has been rewound to vintage specs) - I just got a deal on the Antiquities and love the way they sound. I'll provide both sets of pickups for the price shown above. Price does not include shipping.
I also have aftermarket tort and a black guards, plus another white guard. I'll throw those in if wanted. The bass is set up to perfection and plays like a dream.
