Details

2013 Mike Lull Reverse Thunderbird.
Mahogany body & neck, Indian rosewood fretboard.
Bass is mint condition, not a mark on it.
Case is also like new.
Obviously a beautiful hand made instrument with the best Thunderbird pickups made. I was told by Spencer Lull this bass would cost 5800ish to have made today.
This one was built my Mike Lull before his unfortunate passing a few years ago.

Really hate to sell this beauty but sometimes you need to make tuff decisions. Make serious offer if you feel price is too high.

If shipping is required we can discuss best method. Thanks.

You mention Indian rosewood for the fretboard but on the spec sheet it says Madagascar rosewood.

Here is an Email from Spencer…..
Quote:
Should be Mahogany Body, Mahogany Neck, Indian Rosewood Fretboard, our Thunderbird pickups, 34” Scale, 12” Fretboard Radius, etc.

It was built in Sept of 2013.

Hope that helps!

Best,

Spencer Lull

I would trust Spencer. I see one listed on reverb (for $4800) which does not mention the board wood and it’s not listed on it’s certificate. Another one listed on reverb simply states “rosewood”.

That would be me… I played it most of tonight’s psy/space rock band rehearsal and can confirm what @willsellout said about the tone produced by the pickups. It has outstanding tone and plays exceptionally well. I’ve played Fender shapped objects all of my music life, so this is my first Gibson shapped object and I’m glad I bought it. It’s a very psychedelic bass guitar and fits nicely into my band.
