Details

1930s King Mortone bass (believed to be 1937) in restorable condition. Good top arch, tuners in excellent working condition, endpin moves smoothly, soundpost included but floating in bottom of bass. Please examine photos for complete description of problematic areas at heel and neck. Original canvas bass bag in poor condition included. Currently does not have strings, unlike the photos.

This looks like an incredibly fun project. I’d turn it into a five string! Wish you were closer to Memphis and that I could entice you with some sort of trade deal. If this doesn’t sell, please let’s rap and figure out a way to get this in my hands. I would/could make the road trip, but can only give low-ball cash offer at present.
