Great working man’s bass! A 1993 Warwick Fortress One in Gloss Black. This bass is in great shape for being 30 years old. High quality German craftsmanship, this is NOT a Rockbass, this is the real deal.
This bass has the vintage early 90’s recessed Dunlop Straplocks, and a set of straplocks will be included in the gig bag. Early 90’s Warwicks are coveted for using Wenge for both the neck and the fretboard. Neck is in great shape , straight, no warping and movement in the truss rod.
For the electronics, the bass uses the original MEC P/J pickups, but has been upgraded from the passive wiring to an Audere 3 Band preamp with a volume and pan pot. The Audere preamp is known for being very transparent, giving you control over the tone of your bass without coloring the sound like many other preamps. The Audere pairs great with the MEC pickups.
Ships in a gig bag, this is a high quality bass, and is a very good value.
Selling for $999 shipped to the CONUS. I am open for trades, not looking for anything specific.
