Details

Immaculate condition, one of the first Masterbuild CV5 to exist. This 2014 CV5 was part of the 2015 NAMM booth, any 2015 video will show this bass. Oddly, there isn't a mark on it. I've had many Warwick's since buying this one (my first), and I have yet to find one (including late 80s models) that have a fit and finish like this, or a stronger finish. I didn't quite like the passive pickups, or the preamp really so I got two active Jazz MEC pickups and a OBP2 preamp. So, volume, volume, bass, treble, and a switch that kills the preamp but keeps the active pickups going, really nice option. Verified by the man himself, HP, this was made my one person in Germany, with all the masterbuild goodies that don't make it to the Teambuilt lineup. Only reason I'm selling is really because the 5 string hasn't really jelled with me, everything I have is a 4 string, and this is my first 5. Price includes shipping, UPS, in older case. Includes paper work and instrument pack. Any questions please feel free to ask. Paypal F&F or G&S +3%. I'm pricing this to move, as they are typically over 5k USD, and resale easily over 3k USD

Also, 8.8 pounds on a bathroom scale

*The BASS/TREBLE control is missing its concentric knob, but that is replaced. I will have a photo of that shortly

34" scale? How's the neck thickness?

Nice looking bass!
The neck is 1.125" thick, and 2.625" wide both at the pocket, at the nut, .825" thick, and 1.75" on the head end (nut). I have my spacing at 17.1mm, but it has plenty of adjustability in both directions. These solid brass bridges really hold adjustment in all directions very well.

And yes, it is considered a full 34" scale, rosewood board, basically a Jazz bass (and much better than an Fender J Ive owed)

Here's the concentric setup I added. Real nice and smooth pots (Alpha). I've already ordered active pickups like these for my other warwicks, they really do bring the "warwick sound"
