Happy New Year, Fellow TB'ers!!
Up for sale is a beautiful Olympic White USA Lakland 44-64 (aka Bob Glaub) P bass that I bought here from another solid TB'er. The bass is in mint condition, with only 2 tiny finish cracks in the neck pocket area. They don't show in photo.
This beauty has the Jazz Bass width neck - 1.5" nut width. It has a rosewood fretboard with birds' eye maple fret markers and a wonderful quartersawn maple neck with an oil finish that is super-smooth and fast! I use #0000 extra-fine steel wool and orange oil/beeswax blend called Feed-and-Wax to keep it that way. Awesome stuff. Not a mark on neck or fretboard. No paint chips or dings.
The bass weighs 8lbs, 11 oz and comes with a nice black hard case from Lakland. It has a Fender '62 CS pickup installed (as I got it) and comes with a never-installed Lakland Vintage Hot Pickup as well! Comes with Dunlop Straplocks and a truss rod wrench.
