My circa 2002 Peavey Basic 112 (75 w) combo has a very wonky input jack. It works if you push down on the jack but as soon as the jack levels out it buzzes loudly. I've seen articles and videos on the internet that describe possible fixes. However, as Detective Harry Callahan of the SFPD once advised: "a man's got to know his limitations" and electronic repair is at the top of my list.
