Looking for a Fender Jazz CS Jazz 5

2017 Fender Custom Shop Limited Edition NAMM 1964 Jazz Bass Relic - Olympic White - Brown Fender Case with foam protection still on the handle.
Relicing looks sweet. This is one of the good ones no doubt. Really wanted to keep but just going in a different direction. I picked it up recently from a stellar TB’r. It is in pristine condition for a relic finish of course. Comes with all case candy and original tort P/G, I will include the black pickguard pictured as well. I changed out the electronics that made it a limited edition as I prefer the VBT option, intact original concentric electronics will be included as pictured. Hopefully someone will see their dream bass in this one.

shipping included CONUS only

This looks like an excellent CS jazz, and from a top TB'er. Wish I had the room! GLWTS.

This is all I could come up with.

Fender Limited Edition: What's the Story?

Published on 26 April 2022

What can be better than a new Fender guitar?

How about a new limited edition Fender guitar, with colours or specs that you can’t normally have? Sounds good? We always love it when Fender put a unique spin on their world-famous designs: they are very astute at knowing what to keep in place and what to change up in order to grasp our attention without veering away from their own inimitable ‘House Style’, as it were.

instruments are an opportunity to grab something with a touch of uniqueness, a fun and exciting way to appreciate the classics in a new light. Often, it’s a finish that we don't usually see attributed to a particular model; other times, it’s a change to the hardware or pickups, putting the instrument into a slightly different realm. Quite a lot of the time, it’s actually both of these things, making Limited Edition Fenders legitimately worthwhile and interesting propositions for both players and collectors.

The floor traveler actually names it as a 1960 NAMM Limited Edition, which would clear up the use of concentric controls…

Thanks for the ask. Only trade would be a partial for a Baer ML115.

This one is staying took an hour to get the 4 string groove back and this bass just kills. Looks like a few 5’s will need to move out and make room for this one.

Weight on this beauty? Also is the control you put in VVT or truly VBT? Fender Jazz Basses are historically VVT

I asked Mo Mina to make me a VBT since I prefer it over VVT. Scale says 8.6 lb. Did it 3 times with same results
