This quirky bass has a character all its own. The pickups Squire specced for this model have a real vibe, reminiscent of a Pbass. With the short scale, notes are full of fundamental and warmth. Killer Sherwood Green finish. There is something punk rock about this bass, and it sounds killer with a pick.
Sadly, I bought this bass from an online retailer and it was damaged in transit to me. I opted to keep it and got some credit in turn. As a result, there is an of about a quarter-size area on top edge of the forearm cut with damage to the finish. The area of missing finish is about the size of a dime, but there is some additional cracking around it. It is visible from the front. Just adds to the edge, imo.
