Here I have a 1965 jazz bass in original sunburst finish. It has a huge tone and plays effortlessly.
EVERYTHING is original on it, minus the pots (I have the originals in the case and they function).
The body is well worn with lots of play wear, yet the finish is original. There is a divot shaped play mark between the pickups, does not affect playability.
The pickups have a healthy output, and are the original grey bobbins, penciled 1965. The tone is the ultimate 60’s jazz tone ever, Im not kidding. The wiring harness is a lindy fralin harness, and the controls are fully functional.
The pickguard has a rather large crack in it, however it holds together well with the pickguard screws that Im confident it wont break more with proper care.
The neck functions well, with the truss rod able to loosen and tighten. It has had a recent fret dressing. The back of the neck is beautifully worn in.
Weighs 9.4 pounds and is well balanced.
Includes fender case, original wiring harness as well as another control plate. Includes neck pickup cover, bridge cover is awol.
