Here is an absolutely beautiful Gibson Les Paul Standard. Desert Burst finish with a very nice figured top. Overall, this guitar is in excellent condition, with almost no issues too speak about. As silly as it sounds, I'm selling this guitar because it's TOO nice. I prefer a banger, workhorse guitar that I don't have to worry about dinging or scratching. Because of that, this guitar really has not been played that much and is in almost new condition.
The guitar plays amazing and has a ton of tone and resonance. It is a chambered body which makes it very light, weighing in at ONLY 7.8 lbs! It is by far the lightest Gibson Standard I have seen. This was the major reason why I bought it initially. The low weight makes it a pleasure to play. Pickups are Classic 57s which sound full, creamy, and great! Frets look good too, with little to no wear. 60s neck feels very nice in your hand, it's not thin, but not a beefy 50s. Locking tuners. Includes original Gibson case.
Small finish crack near the nut. Very tiny ding on the front side which was difficult to photograph. A few small scratches which wouldn't show up. Bridge pickup volume knob is cracked. Other than these small cosmetic issues, the guitar is basically mint.
Trades: I might be interested in a trade for a Gibson LP Classic, or possibly a studio. Must be 8lbs or very close.
Reasonable offers certainly considered.
