This one originally relied solely on a 9 volt battery but has been modded to include the ability to plug into a dc adapter

This is not a stomp box to change the bass tone running into the front end of your bass amp; the Parallel Output does not have the SansAmp emulation. This is for providing an amp-like tone to a mixing board, either for gigs or for recording.
