Killer rig that I must finally admit I do not use and do not expect to use. Even more sadly, I have to sell THE SHIRT! with it.
Just got a tune-up and clean bill of health from a great tech here in the Rogue Valley. Four new 6L6 power tubes; the remaining two 6L6 and the three 12AX7 preamp tubes have low hours over six years if memory serves. I had the tweeter disconnected, but my tech said it could easily be reconnected if desired. I have no way of weighing the rig but I would guess it comes in around 90 pounds—at least it has a dolly built-in! If I can find the aftermarket footswitch I had for the graphic EQ I will throw that in, but if I don’t find it, a simple and inexpensive one-button switch will do.
Sounds quick and clean but retains a distinctive tube-liness.
Best of all: THE BUSTER TEE SHIRT! Size large, definitely done shrinking at this point. It’s a quarter century old and it shows, but it’s SO rock ‘n’ roll. You know you want it.
