Thanks. It's true, but I don't get to use it enough. If I got to use it once a week or so I'd hold on like grim death.

I just realized I didn't answer you!

The older cab is taller and narrower. They both weigh about the same - in the 30ish range. Honestly, they sound pretty much the same. A very plump, oldschool sound but good higher range when its called for. Both are very well constructed.
