Details

Very good condition, very special pedal, imo. Uses the same gain stage and circuitry as the Underground Accelerator, but ditches the eq section. In other words, perfect for those looking for an always-on tube warmth, but who don't need another superfluous EQ curve in their chain. The upper harmonic material is beautifully subtle, and the warmth isn't overly wooly. Wish I didn't have to let this one go, Sushi Box stuff is the real deal.

This one has the green LED behind the tube.
$135 shipped.

Hey J!

9V, and it draws 600 mA (it's a lot, but it doesn't starve the tube, which is great).

I emailed Nathan at SB about this a couple months ago because I saw "900 mA at startup" online. He assured me 600 mA was sufficient. I powered it on my One Spots daisy chain and it operated great (dead quiet too).

I actually asked a similar question in the sushi box secret society thread back in December... Here's a screenshot:

I only got that one reply back, so I listened to whatever sound samples I could find. From what I found, there was only a very slight difference in the gain stages of the two (and the harmonics), certainly not enough to have both on my board. Like the respondent in the thread said, if you have a quality DI that you like, the Space Heater is the way to go. It avoids spending extra cash on a redundant DI.
