This pedal does what it says - turns your bass amp into a Gallien-Krueger 800! IMO you really need an effects loop in your amp to feed the 800RB into the effects return to get the full impact, and I'm switching to a vintage style amp without a loop. I'm a huge fan of Mike Meseros of The Smithereens and this pedal nails his GK sound.
