This Quadra bass was a made to order by a very talented luthier named Trevor Woodland who operates under the name Vigilant Guitars. I got it for a very good price because while he already made a prototype, my order was the first custom order for this specific model. It took three months to complete.
I love this bass and it sounds fantastic. I would keep it even as a work of art. But I have to start contributing funds towards lights and sound for my newly formed band. So this as well as other gear is being sold.
The design has a familiar look. This model is Trevor's nod to Rickenbacker. A company he told me he admires greatly. The differences in the body style in particular the forearm rest section and notably the bottom of the body, are there to enhance the playability of the instrument. The longer upper horn promotes a great balance with no dive whatsoever.
The electronics are superb. I will likely put a set in one of my other basses one day in the future. There is a great variance and clean tone with Fluence. The three different mid-voice settings switch adds a whole new set of tonal color to the instrument.
Tradewise, I'm not currently in the market for anything other than some PA or lighting equipment which is in my purchase list of next things.

When I got the bass, there was one very tiny chip in the paint on the back of the horn. We have no idea how that happened. But I've since fixed the chip with an orange enamel paint that comes pretty close.
My asking price includes shipping to anywhere in the continental US. $50 discount for local pickup. Tradewise, I'm not currently in the market for anything other than some PA or lighting equipment. So if you have anything decent to offer, I'll be open to hearing you out. Add another $150 to the price for trades.
I'll post more photos later.
